Geometry Nodes Feather
Feather asset made with geometry nodes. (Recommended Blender version is 3.1+ but it probably works with Blender 3.0 too)
Parameters:
Usage:
Quill Radius: Radius of the quiill/stem.
Vane: Controls the length of the vane or the growth of the feathers along the quill.
Color1: Controls the color on the top of the feather.
Color2: Controls the color on the middle of the feather.
Color3: Controls the color on the base of the feather.
Barb Count: Controls the amount of barbs/hair on the quill.
Barb Resolution: Controls the resolution of each barb/hair. (6 works just fine but you can go up to 512)
Barb Thickness: Controls the thickness of each barb/hair on the quill.
subdivisiom: Subdivides the barbs. (Not the quill)
Noise Scale: Scale of the displacement on the barbs.
Noise Strength: Strength of the displacement on the barbs.
Noise Seed: Seed for random displacement on the barbs.
Rotation & Scale: Random rotation and scale strength.
Seed: Random seed for Rotation and scale for the barbs
Custom Curve: Make and draw your own unique feathers!
